Myrias Consulting Services traces its roots back to 1982, when
the company was founded to build massively parallel supercomputers.
The goal was to deliver the price-performance ratio promised by
parallel computing -- but in a package that would be easy for
someone to use and understand.
Between 1987 and 1989, Myrias delivered 3 generations of parallel
hardware platforms. But as competition grew fierce and customers
demanded standard general-purpose systems, Myrias concentrated its
efforts on its traditional strength -- software. Since 1991, Myrias
has developed and delivered products for
high-performance parallel computing:
PAMS for Unix platforms, and
inPARALLEL for NT platforms.
Today, Myrias Software Corp continues to develop new products
for both Unix and NT platforms. In order to better serve the needs
of existing clients, Myrias has expanded to form the Consulting
Services division.
